The House
The Barut House is situated in the old part of Gabrovica, a settlement in the Osp valley in the northernmost part of the Slovenian Istria. We wanted to give a new function to our old farmhouse, which has belonged to our family for generations, all the while preserving its homeliness and original form.

The Offer
There are two fully furnished apartments available for our guests, each with its own separate entrance. The guests are free to use the terrace, the yard and the parking lot. 

We are temporarily closed due the construction work.
We will be back ready to host you in september 2023!

Activities
For those who are not intrigued by the hustle and bustle of the coastal area, however, being active tourists want to enjoy the fast access to key locations in the surroundings, Gabrovica is the ideal choice. The Osp Valley and Kraški Rob (the Karst Edge) above Črni Kal are mostly associated with free climbing, while the surrounding area also offers several other options to actively spend your free time in contact with nature.
